PROS:
– The name of the gloves [RIVAL RB-11 Evolution Bag Gloves] speaks for itself; it is a bag-glove and is not meant for sparring.
– Outer-layer padding of the glove is hard, which provides good feedback (‘pop’ sounds) when hitting the heavy-bag. Inner-layer padding absorbs the shock well.
– Wrist-strap has to be aligned properly (i.e. pulled towards you to tighten the glove first, then wrap around the wrist to the Velcro) for the Wrist-Lock 2 to work. This will prevent your wrists from bending back towards you when throwing punches.
– XL-sized gloves is a decent fit for a141lb & 5’7″ person; fits snugly with hand-wraps on.
– Because #NOMASCHENKO.
CONS:
– Not recommended for people with long thumbs.
– Embroidery graphic design; rough-handling may cause it to unravel. Not a big issue since this will encourage you to hit with proper form such that only the knuckle-part of the gloves come into contact with the heavy-bag.
