The Athlete has always been Scramble\u2019s flagship Brazilian jiujitsu gi. This kimono has been lovingly crafted and refined over the years using feedback from athletes and customers, as well as the founders and staff of Scramble, who almost all train. The gi features simple Scramble branding at key points and follows all IBJJF guidelines for legality. We have clearly listed the GSM of the top and bottoms so that you can easily pass IBJJF inspection.<\/p>\n

And for those who don\u2019t compete, this is an excellent every day gi with enough weight to withstand vigorous daily training.<\/p>\n

Many other brands blend their cotton with polyester as it is cheaper and reduces shrinkage, but we always use 100% cotton. It is healthier and feels more comfortable on the skin, while also remaining breathable when you are sweating. This means that the gi may be susceptible to shrinkage, but no more than usual, and you can rest assured that this is because of the pure cotton content.<\/p>\n
